Android pauses apps in the background to save battery, and can pause the VPN with them.

Unrestricted battery usage, under Account, Automation, asks Android to leave JustCoffee VPN running. Turning it on opens Android's own prompt.

Android only allows it to be revoked from its own settings, so turning it off takes you there.
