Streaming services block most VPN servers. Rather than guessing a country, the streaming picker connects you through a route kept specifically for the service you choose.
Services with several regions, such as Netflix, open a second step where you pick the region you want.
Pick a region once and the app remembers it: choose Netflix Canada and Auto-Pilot will use Canada for Netflix from then on.
If a service still shows a proxy or VPN warning, close the streaming app fully, reconnect through the picker, and open it again. Routes are refreshed regularly, so the fix is usually a fresh connection.
